LUMBER: April is over and the market came off again this week. The new feeling however is we could be at the bottom as mills have now announced shutdowns and curtailments to reduce inventory levels. Stay tuned because if we are at the bottom, supply could dry up quickly and run this market up a bit. PANEL: Panel market stayed flat also this week. LUMBER: As we head out of April we saw another double digit drop in the market. There seems to be plenty of built up inventory at the mill level that is looking to be moved off. With demand picking up this market should flatten out at some point, but stranger things have happened for sure. PANEL: Panel market stayed flat also this week.
