Engineering and Estimating Department

Matt Rimkus has accepted the new position of Engineered Wood Component Designer/Estimator, heading up our newly formed department. Matt's role will include him working alongside our outside sales staff, creating material take-offs and framing material specs.

Matt will be using software provided by Boise-Cascade to provide stamped engineered beam calculations for all the conventional and engineered lumber we carry. Additionally, this software will allow for him to transform plans into a layout of engineered flooring system made of I-Joists.
