Industry Forecast - Lumber Pricing & Market Predictions
LUMBER: More downward pressure in the market this week as the month of March came in like a lion and curtailed demand so far. With milder and more spring like weather coming I look for prices to flatten out a bit if the market behaves in a more traditional manner and buyers ramp up inventories for April and May. This should put the market on firmer ground.
PANEL: Panel prices came off a bit this week due to the same notes as above. I look for demand to increase in the coming weeks and firming up this market as well.
