Industry Forecast - Lumber Pricing & Market Predictions
LUMBER: Well, what a difference a week makes. With what was hopefully the last of mill closings and curtailments the market responded by moving prices up in a defensive position. We will see where this all sorts out in the coming weeks if we determine what is the true supply and demand. Until then, I would be ready for anything.
PANEL: Panel prices stayed flat but typically they lag a bit behind dimension lumber. I will look for changes in this market in the weeks to come.
