Industry Forecast - Lumber Pricing & Market Predictions
LUMBER: Economic news is fair, housing starts are flat to down, demand is off, supply is trying to level out but there just not enough buyers. The modest run up we had for the last few weeks has evaporated and prices are off. The lone exception here is 2x12. There is a real, not artificial shortage and prices reflect that.
PANEL: Panel prices stayed flat to down. I look for further erosion here. Let's see where demand is in the coming weeks.
