LUMBER: A bit ore fuel added to fire this week as prices printed up across the board in a big way for February. Fueled by demand, somewhat milder winter weather and buyers anticipating needs for spring added to the frenzy. And if you think this market was hot, read the notes below, panel is scorching HOT.
PANEL: So call this market catch up to dimension or demand stripping supply but panel mills have an order file out to the end of March! As of 4 PM on Friday most mills were off the market with nothing left to sell. If you were sleeping on this one and you want fir plywood especially, you're probably scrambling.
