Industry Forecast: Lumber Pricing & Market Predictions - 6/21/21
LUMBER: We are continuing to see a correction in the lumber market as prices come off even faster than they went up. I predict this price correction will continue in the coming weeks even as demand remains steady, and mills are getting ready for maintenance shutdowns in July. Hold on tight, the roller coaster may be heading down but somewhere near the bottom, I see us going back up like a slingshot.
PANEL: The panel market came off a bit for the first time in months but there wasn't any major movement. I foresee this market will continue downwards and correct itself soon.
