Industry Forecast: Lumber Pricing & Market Predictions - 7/12/21

LUMBER: Lumber prices continued to fall this week, plummeting to their lowest levels in nine months. With room for even more down
ward movement until buyers decide to step back in. Demand has remained strong, and buyers will need to restock soon, so this slide will likely continue for a few more weeks before settling for a time.
PANEL: Panel prices fell at a sharper decline this week. Unfortunately, most lumberyards still have a large quantity of stock purchased at higher prices - these will need to move first before the end-users see the effects of the declining prices. Buyers are likely to watch the panel market before making any more large purchases.
