Industry Forecast: Lumber Pricing & Market Predictions - 7/19/21
LUMBER: The correction continues with even lower prices flowing into the lumber market. There have been several theories concerning why these lower prices haven't shown up at the retail level, but I feel it will finally happen soon. As the supply chain runs its course and demand remains steady, the lower retail pricing should be just around the corner.
PANEL: Last week panel prices began to decline, and we saw pricing come off in even bigger chunks this week. The panel market is now in full correction mode. Again, it will take some time before this translates to lower pricing at the retail level - but they are coming.
